The days are getting longer and longer. It’s still a few hours dark in middle of the night but we move fast forward towards the summer. There is still lots of snow and we will probably be able to run our dog teams another month before we have to accept that the winter is over.

This picture is from the last tour. We went from Saltoluokta mountain lodge down to Jokkmokk. From the mountains down to the forest.

After a good day along the trails we ended up in a

After a good day along the trails we ended up in a camp. The trail has been amazing good. The dogs made a great job and finally we set up our camp on the edge of Karats lake.

One of the guests fights with a tough cold and I started to feel something in my throat… Back home Stina is in the bed with a similar cold and she have a hard time to just manage the work with the dogs at home. As an animal owner there is no time for just resting. The dogs still need food and all that daily things.

It’s not always ‘a dance on the roses’ in this business…
