OPTIONS
● A night at Hotel Akerlund before and/or after your overnight tour with dog sled.
We recommend that you arrive to Jokkmokk the day before the tour starts so you don’t risk to miss the tour if your flight/train etc. should be delayed.
Two days of dog sledding and one overnight in the wild
After you got dressed we go out to the sleds and we will give you instructions in how to drive a dog sled and how to handle the dogs before we harness them and take off.
We’ll drive until it’s time for lunch. We cook our food over open fire somewhere in the forest before we head on to our canvas tent or a wilderness cabin where we will spend our night.
During the afternoon and evening you will get the opportunity to try snowshoe walking. Before we eat dinner and make our self comfortable we will feed and take care of the huskies.
The next day we fix breakfast and pack up before we harness the dogs infront of the sleds and take off back to the kennel.
We will stop for lunch in the woods and will be back in Jokkmokk approx. 3 PM.

Tour Reviews
WONDERFUL TRIP, AMAZING EXPERIENCE! (review fr TripAdvisor)
My family and I had an amazing time on the overnight dogsled tour. Stina and Matti were excellent guides from the start. They helped us schedule the tour within the small window we were planning to be in the Luleå/Jokkmokk area, and they provided us with guidelines to make sure we were prepared for the trek. Matti — our guide for the tour — kept us safe and laughing throughout the two-day trip. The sights were incredible, the experience unforgettable, and the dogs absolutely lovable. Definitely recommend!!! /Evan M
