Our shortest husky tour! A short try-out sled dog tour where a musher is steering the dog sled and you sit as a passenger.
The trip starts out from our kennel and will take you out over the snow-covered ice of Lake Skabram. For those who need we have snowmobile suites, warm boots, hats and mittens to borrow.
You will also get the opportunity to cuddle with our social and kind Siberian Huskies before and after the husky tour.

For who?
You will sit as a passenger on the sled while we are steering the sled.
On the sled , it’s a kind of bench you’re sitting across. You must therefore be able to sit wide apart with your legs and be able to bend your legs 90 degrees. Up to 4 persons can sit on a sled and you must sit very close to each other.
If you are a very big person (heavyweight) it can cause problems for the dogs, that the sledge break and problems with the space on the sledge. Therefore, you must state your height and weight when booking.
If you are unsure if you are able to take part don’t hesitate to send us an email and tell us about yourself and your worries.
Minimum age is 8 years old to follow on this tour.
Babies and small children on outdoor activities for many hours in winter are not recommended, therefore we have an age limit of 8 years old. We have taken smaller children on tours before but too often they end up in tears and the experienced is ruined for everybody involved.

The tour starts at Jokkmokkguiderna´s kennel in Skabram 3 km west from Jokkmokk.

If you can´t get here on your own then we can pick you up in Jokkmokk center for an extra fee of 200 SEK. Must be booked in advance.
