I started to look forward for some cabin life. Tra I started to look forward for some cabin life. Travelling with our dogs through Swedish Lapland. Some nights camping, some nights in rough cabins and sometimes more luxurious cabins with electricity. This cabin is where we have been staying in when we are in Saltoluokta. We cooperate wit Svenska Turistföreningen (STF) and once a week we drop by the mountain lodge. Shower, restaurant, reload the sleds and change the group. Then back out on the trails. We are really super happy with all friends and colleagues in the area who help us to solve a lot of things. It’s from Jokkmokk, Årrenjarka, Saltoluokta, Nikkaluokta and so on… If you want to run a company like we are doing you need a good and local network! /Matti #cabinlife #cabin #cosycabin #sweden
This is Åttan. She starts to get old. She is stil This is Åttan. She starts to get old. She is still healthy in her body, not working in the team any more and most of the time she lives inside with us. She isn’t happy in the kennel anymore. She wants our bed and she wants to be close. She has no pains and jumps around like a puppy sometimes. There is one big problem. We believe that she starts to get dementia. We take her out for toilet but she forgets about it. When she’s back inside she makes toilet. This has been ongoing for more than a half year and we just know… We know that the day when we have to take goodbye of her is coming closer and closer… We have 50 dogs. I just want to share the downside of this life also. The responsibility of dogs life. The heavy burden on us to make the decisions when it’s time to say goodbye… I just change the water in the bucket, add some soap and push the decision little bit in front of me… Let’s enjoy some more days, weeks or… month together with Åttan. But the situation isn’t sustainable for us or for her. I hope you understand that we really love our dogs even if we sometimes have to take the hard decision. /Matti #siberianhusky #life
