Closing the Chapter on This Winter

The dog sled season 2026 is now behind us, filled with many great days, tours, and meaningful encounters with people from all over the world. This year, we chose to finish a bit earlier than usual and limited our week-long tours to a maximum of three guests—two decisions that felt right and will likely stay for next season.

Now it’s time to take care of all the winter gear—cleaning, maintaining, and packing it away so everything is ready when the next winter arrives. The dogs seem happy to be home again, but they haven’t hesitated for a second when we’ve taken them out on our own post-season trips.

We’ll soon start planning next winter’s program and setting the dates. It takes a bit of time and we also want to enjoy the spring. As soon as everything is ready, the new dates will be available for booking here on the website, so keep an eye out. This past season, nearly everything was fully booked within less than two weeks.

The photos in this post are from one of the last tours of the season.

If you’d like to follow our daily life, we share more regular updates on Instagram, Facebook, and our YouTube channel than we do here on the website.
