There is a lot of preparation that needs to be done for the upcoming dog sledding season. One of them is to open our trail system that we use for our dog sled tours.
To prepare the trails we use snowmobiles and we spend many hours a winter for preparation and maintaining of the trails. The trails go over many lakes and ice is always a risk factor. It’s therefore very important to check the thickness and quality of the ice before going out on a frozen lake.
