But there is one annoying companion that can dampen the experience – blisters! But don’t despair, we know how to avoid blisters when hiking and will tell you how.

Summer has arrived in Northern Sweden and Lapland. Backpackers have started to arrive to head out on our beautiful hiking trails. Some plan to walk the King’s Trail or Kungsleden as it is called in Swedish and others more daring and experienced might head for Sarek National Park or another more unknown route. The possibilities for hiking up here are endless.

We know that blisters can be a discouraging obstacle on your path to outdoor adventures. However, armed with the right knowledge and techniques, you can minimize the risk and embrace the joy of hiking.
Many hikers are talking about how to take care of their feet when blisters already occurred, but when we are out hiking our goal is to not get any blisters at all.  Therefore, Stina has made a video where she shares valuable insights, practical tips, and our expert advice on how to avoid blisters when hiking.

AND, remember! Hiking is not just about conquering mountains; it’s about immersing yourself in nature, discovering hidden gems, and rejuvenating your mind and soul. So don’t stress and tread lightly!

Happy Hiking!
